The opportunity to visit their indigenous village allowed me to learn about their traditions and how they harmoniously coexist with their jungle surroundings. The accommodation offered a blend of traditional and modern elements, with clean, comfortable rooms styled like a Cambodian house. The peaceful location just outside of town is perfect for those seeking tranquility amidst nature, providing stunning views and the sounds of birdsong. I found the staff exceptionally accommodating; Kanha, the young manager, went above and beyond in organizing our transportation and preparing packed breakfasts for our early excursions. The friendliness and efficiency of the staff made our experience seamless. The retreat served as a much-needed haven after a three-day adventure at the elephant sanctuary, leaving me with cherished memories of both people and nature.
